About me

I am a researcher and academician in Biological Sciences with expertise in Immunology, Parasitology, Inflammation Biology, and Bone Biology. I offer mentorship in research design, hypothesis building, laboratory methods, data analysis, scientific writing, and publication strategy. I can guide students to think critically, work ethically, and become confident independent researchers, helping them build strong careers in academia, biotechnology, and biomedical sciences.

Interests: My research interests lie in the broad area of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, with a special focus on Immunology, Parasitology, Inflammation Biology, and Translational Research. I am particularly interested in understanding host–parasite interactions and how parasite-derived molecules modulate immune responses. This area has significant potential for developing novel therapies against autoimmune and inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. Another major area of focus is Osteoimmunology, which explores the relationship between the immune system and bone health. I am interested in studying mechanisms involved in bone loss, osteoporosis, and inflammatory bone damage, along with strategies for promoting bone regeneration and repair. I also have strong interest in Natural Products and Phytomedicine, especially the identification of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants for anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and therapeutic applications. Overall, my goal is to conduct impactful interdisciplinary research that bridges basic science with clinical relevance and contributes to innovative solutions for human health and disease management.
