Interests: • Plant Genome Engineering & Functional Genomics: Development and application of CRISPR/Cas-based tools for targeted gene editing in ornamental and crop plants, with a focus on improving stress resistance and disease tolerance. • Plant Stress Biology & Molecular Mechanisms: Understanding plant responses to biotic (powdery mildew, pathogens) and abiotic (cold, drought) stresses through transcriptomics, gene regulation studies, and identification of negative regulators of defense. • In Vitro Propagation & Floriculture Biotechnology: Optimization of tissue culture protocols for endangered and ornamental species (Incarvillea emodi, Gerbera), including clonal propagation and secondary metabolite enhancement.
