About me
I am a researcher in computational condensed matter physics, with a strong focus on ab-initio methods and Density Functional Theory (DFT) for understanding the electronic and magnetic properties of complex materials. My work has contributed to understanding spin–orbit coupling effects, electronic phase transitions, carrier tuning in thermoelectric, and magnetic ordering in correlated oxides, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals.
Interests: I am currently serving as a Research Associate at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, where I continue my work on electronic structure and magnetic properties of emerging quantum materials using advanced DFT approaches. Alongside my research, I have contributed to academic development through teaching Quantum Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, Density Functional Theory, and Condensed Matter Physics at the undergraduate level and mentoring students in computational physics. My long-term research vision is to develop predictive computational frameworks for designing novel functional materials, particularly those exhibiting strong correlations, spin–orbit coupling effects, and emergent quantum phenomena, while also contributing to teaching, mentorship, and collaborative scientific research.
