About me
I am a PhD in Life Sciences, with 8+ peer-reviewed publications and 200+ citations. I led multiple research programs end-to-end, from study design through publication, and built cross-functional collaborations across biochemistry, oncology, microbiology, and computational biology. As a mentor, I can teach manuscript development, apply ICMJE/GPP3 publication standards, use of AI tools for literature synthesis, and guide students in turning research into impactful scientific communication.
Interests: My research sits at the intersection of biomedical science and computational innovation, with a particular focus on oncology, infectious disease, and antimicrobial resistance. A core thread throughout my work has been applying AI and in silico approaches to drug discovery and repurposing, from screening polyphenols as anti-virulence agents against MRSA to using computational intelligence for drug repurposing in diabetes and COVID-19. My doctoral work centered on two independent programs: MOF-based cancer therapeutics and antimicrobial alkaloids/flavonoids, integrating in silico, in vitro, and in vivo methods to validate phytochemical efficacy against multidrug-resistant pathogens (e.g., MDR E. coli). I've also explored piezoelectric nanobiomaterials for wound healing, reflecting a broader interest in translational, materials-driven approaches to therapeutics. Underpinning all of this is a strong commitment to AI-assisted literature synthesis and evidence-based scientific communication using tools like Elicit, Scite, and Connected Papers to accelerate rigorous, ICMJE/GPP3-compliant research and publication workflows.
