About me

My specialized research interests lie at the intersection of conservation genetics, evolutionary biology, and wildlife metagenomics. The research goal is to utilize genome-wide data to bridge the gaps of traditional genetic studies, specifically to und technical competencies include Genomics & Sequence Analysis, Forensics. Based on international training at the University of Idaho and the University of Oulu, I can offer hands-on instructions to students in the of Bioinformatics and Genomics.

Interests: My broad research and teaching interest lie in the field of conservation genetics, evolutionary biology and metagenomics of wildlife. Each of these areas is crucial in the context of wildlife conservation. My long-term research goal is to integrate genome-wide information and evolutionary knowledge to improvise the conventional conservation genetic conclusions based on limited genome coverage to understand the effect of climate change. Genome-wide information will also help the development of new molecular tools to curb the Illegal wildlife trade.
