About me
Bioinformatics scientist with 15+ years of experience in cancer genomics, transcriptomics, and multi-omics data integration. Led and contributed to large-scale meta-analyses across normal and cancer tissues, identifying key regulatory and disease-associated genes. Extensive expertise in NGS analysis, functional annotation, network biology, database development, and collaborative translational research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and team leadership experience. Mentored trainees.
Interests: My research focuses on understanding gene regulatory mechanisms underlying cancer initiation, progression, and tissue-specific biology through integrative multi-omics approaches. I am particularly interested in transcriptomic meta-analysis, cell cycle regulation, gene network modeling, and identifying molecular determinants of inter-tissue and gender-specific differences in cancer etiology. I aim to leverage large-scale RNA-seq, epigenomic, and single-cell datasets to uncover robust biomarkers and therapeutically actionable targets. My interests extend to systems biology-driven integration of genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenetic data to elucidate disease heterogeneity and improve precision oncology strategies. Additionally, I am motivated to develop reproducible bioinformatics pipelines and computational frameworks that enhance data interpretation, translational relevance, and clinical applicability of high-dimensional biological datasets.
