About me

I am Sonu Kumar and I didmy PhD in 2023 fromIndian Institute of Technology Delhi in the field of plasma physics. I have one year post-doctoral research experience in plasma physics fromInstitute for Plasma Research. My teaching experience is revloving around Electrodynamics, Plasma Physics, Modern Physics. My research experience is revolving around particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation of laser-plasma interaction by using high perpormance computing (HPC).

Interests: My research expertise is associated in the field of laser-plasma interaction by using particle-in-cell (PIC) computer simulation approach. In laser-plasma interaction, I did a lot of research on laser wakefield acceleration (LWFA) which is associated with laser-plasma interaction. My research interest is mainly providing verified input laser data, input plasma data with proper simulation configuration with the help of PIC simulation for a successful LWFA experiment without any manpower loss, experimental cost loss.
