About me
I have extensive experience in biophysical and biochemical research using cutting edge spectroscopic and computational methods which includes time resovlved electronic and vibrational spectrospy, high order IR and NMR spectroscopy like 2DIR and 2DNMR combined with protein simulation using gromacs. I have also experience in perskite study using microscopic techniques. I have very unique combination in both sysytems and techniques like I can help to biologuy and chemistry students.
Interests: During my Ph.D., I have used 2D IR spectroscopy and gathered extensive experience with femtosecond lasers, infrared OPA, AOM based pulse shapers. I was also involved in the setting up/ alignment of the 2D IR spectrometer in our lab. My research focused on carbonyl hydrogen bond interactions and dynamics in aqueous solution in the presence of ions/cosolvents. I have also routinely used FTIR, UV/visible, and NMR spectroscopies during my Ph.D. work. Furthermore, I have used theory and MD simulations (using GROMACS) to obtain molecular insights into the experimental results. I have also worked at IIT Bombay as a postdoctoral fellow, where I used imaging techniques (single-molecule imaging microscopy and FLIM) to study the emission of perovskite materials. I am very interested in further elaborating on my expertise in multiple ultrafast and imaging techniques together.
