About me

I bring a strong academic background in life sciences, currently at the completion stage of my PhD at CSIR–IICT, with expertise in structural biology, protein expression and purification, and biomolecular simulations. Through my research experience,I can help students build a solid foundation in subjects such as molecular biology, biochemistry,and biotechnology, while also guiding them in advanced areas like protein structure-function relationships, computational biology, and molecular modeling.

Interests: My research focuses on understanding protein structure–function relationships using an integrated combination of structural biology, biophysical techniques, and molecular simulations. During my PhD, I have investigated the conformational dynamics and stability of Bcl-2 family proteins using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, circular dichroism, and molecular dynamics simulations. This work has strengthened my expertise in protein structural analysis, biomolecular simulations, and computational modeling. I hold a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and have hands-on experience with molecular dynamics simulation packages including NAMD, CHARMM, and GROMACS. I am also proficient in molecular visualization and modeling tools such as VMD, Chimera, PyMOL, and Avogadro. My interdisciplinary background allows me to integrate experimental structural biology data with computational approaches to better understand biomolecular mechanisms. I am particularly interested in applying my structural biology and computational expertise to support research and development in biomedical and therapeutic innovation at Meril Life Sciences. I am confident that my background in protein structure analysis and biomolecular simulations would allow me to contribute effectively to your research team.
