Biotechnologist and Plant Biology expert with over 15 years of experience in research, higher education teaching, and national-level academic project execution. Currently working as Senior Project Engineer (Subject Matter Expert – Biology) at NDLI, IIT Kharagpur. Strong background in Bionanotechnology, Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, and digital academic content development, with multiple high-impact publications.
Interests: Currently, I am working as Senior Project Engineer (Subject Matter Expert – Biology) at the National Digital Library of India, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where I am responsible for solution design, validation, and academic review for competitive examinations such as NEET, CSIR-NET (Life Sciences), and CUET (UG & PG). My role demands high precision in language, conceptual clarity, scientific accuracy, and alignment with national curricula. Reviewing, editing, and ensuring error-free academic content are central to my daily responsibilities. Previously, as Assistant Professor at Amity University Kolkata, I taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biotechnology and Plant Sciences, supervised dissertations, and contributed to curriculum development and assessment design. My postdoctoral research at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata and earlier research association with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur strengthened my academic writing, manuscript preparation, and peer-review skills. I completed my PhD in Biotechnology from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, and my postgraduate studies at University of Gorakhpur. Throughout my academic career, I have authored multiple peer-reviewed research papers, a book chapter with Elsevier, and numerous exam-oriented academic solutions. My publications have been recognized in reputed scientific platforms, reflecting the quality and rigor of my writing. In addition to scientific expertise, I possess strong command over academic English, formatting standards, referencing styles, and structured documentation. My experience includes proofreading research manuscripts, academic modules, examination solutions, and educational resources to ensure grammatical precision, logical flow, terminological accuracy, and consistency.
