About me
My work includes peer-reviewed publications technical reports policy briefs and mentoring students which has strengthened ability to translate complex scientific-concepts into impactful-knowledge.As a mentor I bring strong foundation in research methodology, data analysis, academic writing along with practical insights from field-based conservation projects. I can guide students in developing research question designing studies performing data analyses preparing high-quality manuscripts reports
Interests: My research interests lie in avian ecology, agroecosystems, and biodiversity conservation, with a focus on understanding how anthropogenic land-use changes influence species diversity, community structure, and ecosystem functioning. I am particularly interested in the functional roles of bird communities, especially their contribution to ecosystem services such as biological pest control in agricultural landscapes. My area of focus includes applying ecological modeling and statistical analysis to assess biodiversity patterns across agroecosystems, wetlands, and urban environments. I also work at the interface of ecology and conservation, exploring sustainable land-use practices, climate resilience, and nature-based solutions. Additionally, I am interested in integrating field-based research with policy-relevant outcomes, contributing to conservation planning, habitat management, and evidence-based decision-making.
