About me

I am Shrawan Kumar, a PhD researcher at the Centre for Life Sciences, Mahindra University, Hyderabad. My work spans molecular biology, biotechnology, and cancer biology. I have 8 publications, including research on phosphorothioated oligonucleotides and RCA-based bioanalytical assays. I also hold two Best Oral Presentation Awards (2020) and offer expert tutoring in Biology and Biotechnology.

Interests: My research focuses on molecular diagnostics and biosensing, with emphasis on early detection of mosquito-borne diseases. I work on phosphorothioated (PST) oligonucleotides, RNA silencing, antisense technology, and Rolling Circle Amplification (RCA) assays. I have prior experience in cancer biology, including anti-tumour activity studies on hepatocellular carcinoma, glioma, and myeloid leukemia cell lines using plant-derived extracts (Spathodea campanulata), conducted at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata.
