About me

Molecular biologist with 10+ years of experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and cell biology. Currently a Senior Research Scientist at Syngene International Limited with prior research experience at Evotec, Oxford. Skilled in experimental design, data analysis, literature review, and scientific writing, with a strong interest in mentoring researchers to develop rigorous and impactful research.

Interests: My research interests lie in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, structural biology, and cell biology, with a focus on understanding protein structure–function relationships, stability, and biochemical interactions that regulate biological processes. I am particularly interested in how molecular mechanisms influence cellular function and how these insights can support biotechnology and drug discovery research. In my professional experience at Syngene International Limited and previously at Evotec in Oxford, UK, I have worked extensively on protein expression, purification, and biophysical characterization using techniques such as Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Circular Dichroism (CD). These approaches help in studying protein folding, stability, and interactions in complex biological systems. Beyond experimental research, I have strong interests in research development processes, including literature survey, hypothesis generation, experimental design, and data interpretation. I am also interested in supporting researchers in proposal development, research planning, and scientific writing to improve the clarity and rigor of research outputs. I enjoy mentoring students and early-career researchers by helping them structure their research ideas, refine their methodology, critically analyze scientific literature, and communicate their findings effectively through well-structured manuscripts and research proposals. I am particularly interested in guiding researchers to approach scientific problems with critical thinking, methodological rigor, and reproducible research practices.
