About me
Biostatistician and research professional with 6+ years of experience in epidemiology, infectious disease surveillance, and non-communicable disease (NCD) research within leading public health institutions. My work focuses on applying statistical methods and analytical frameworks to generate evidence for clinical decision-making and public health policy.
Interests: My experience spans domains such as antimicrobial resistance (AMR), healthcare-associated infections (HAI), COVID-19, diabetes registries, and cancer screening programs. Currently, I work as a Research Scientist (Statistical Consultant) at PGIMER, Chandigarh, contributing to an ICMR-funded implementation research project focused on improving screening, early diagnosis, and treatment initiation for oral, breast, and cervical cancers. I have co-authored 20+ peer-reviewed publications and presented at international conferences including ISHAM and IDF Congress. My earlier work at the National Institute of Epidemiology provided hands-on experience with large-scale public health datasets, surveillance systems, and applied biostatistics in real-world settings. Research interests include: Application of AI and ML in public health and epidemiology Survival analysis and longitudinal data modeling Causal inference and real-world evidence generation Infectious disease modeling and AMR surveillance Implementation research and health systems strengthening
