About me
I received my PhD from the Department of Bioscience at Mahatma Gandhi University. One major part of my thesis work was the isolation and characterisation of the polysaccharide mannan. Having tried sophisticated instruments including UV Vis-spectroscopy, MALDI TOF MS, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), TEM, and NMR (1D and 2D experiments) to characterise and elucidate the structure.
Interests: I am particularly interested in drug discovery. Additionally, I trained in multiple techniques related to Animal handling during my Ph.D. I have more than 10 years of teaching and scientific writing experience and worked more than 5 years as a subject matter expert.
