About me
A PhD in Public Policy from MANIT Bhopal, having expertise in public policy analysis, rural development, livelihood security and welfare interventions. Through my training and experience, I can guide students in designing research projects, conducting field surveys, applying mixed-methods approaches, and conducting econometric analysis. I can also support students in developing policy-relevant research questions and translating empirical findings into meaningful academic and policy insights.
Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of public policy, rural development, livelihood security and welfare interventions. Specifically, my work examines climate resilience and livelihood security, welfare interventions, agricultural and rural development policies, and the gendered, class-based, and spatial dimensions of development outcomes. I am particularly interested in understanding how public programmes and institutional mechanisms influence livelihood opportunities and vulnerability among rural and marginalized communities. My research approach combines quantitative and qualitative methods, including large-scale dataset analysis, field-based surveys, and impact evaluation techniques. I am also interested in policy evaluation, governance of welfare programmes, and evidence-based strategies to improve rural livelihoods and resilience, especially in contexts shaped by environmental change and socio-economic disparities.
