About me
I'm a PhD in Engineering Design (OptoMechatronics) from IIT Madras, PMRF awardee, with 6+ years of teaching at NIT Trichy and Crescent University and 6+ years of research experience at IIT Madras. My research covers laser-based gas sensing, optical instrumentation, and photoacoustic spectroscopy. I can guide students in optics, mechatronics, instrumentation, and research writing.
Interests: My research focuses on laser-assisted trace gas sensing using broadband photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) and quartz-enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy (QEPAS). I work on hollow-core fiber-based absorption spectroscopy, optical system design, and human breath analysis as a non-invasive diagnostic tool. I am also interested in mechatronics system integration, optical instrumentation, and sensor development for environmental and biomedical applications.
