About me

Highly motivated biomedical scientist with expertise in molecular toxicology, cancer biology, and pharmacological research. My doctoral work investigated mechanisms of cisplatin-induced organ toxicity and protective effects of natural compounds using integrated in vivo, molecular, and computational approaches. Experienced in animal models, biomarker analysis, and genomic data interpretation, with a strong publication record and interest in translational biomedical research.

Interests: Research Interests Molecular Toxicology and Drug-Induced Organ Injury – Mechanistic investigation of chemotherapy-induced toxicity, particularly oxidative stress, ferroptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, and inflammatory signaling pathways involved in tissue damage. Cancer Biology and Chemoresistance – Understanding molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression, treatment resistance, and tumor microenvironment interactions to identify novel therapeutic targets. Redox Biology and Cellular Stress Responses – Studying the role of antioxidant pathways such as KEAP1–NRF2 signaling, iron metabolism, and reactive oxygen species in disease development and therapeutic modulation. Natural Compounds and Therapeutic Drug Discovery – Exploring the pharmacological potential of bioactive molecules and phytochemicals in mitigating toxicity and modulating disease pathways. Translational Biomedical Research – Integrating in vivo models, molecular biology techniques, and computational approaches (molecular docking, ADMET analysis) to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Genomics and Precision Medicine – Application of next-generation sequencing (NGS) and genomic variant analysis to understand genetic determinants of disease and support personalized medicine strategies.
