About me
I am a PhD biochemist from IISc with expertise in mitochondrial biology, yeast genetics, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, microscopy, flow cytometry, and scientific writing. I can help students develop clear hypotheses, design practical experiments, interpret biological data, prepare figures and manuscripts, and respond to scientific feedback with clarity and rigor.
Interests: My research interests are centered on understanding how cells maintain their function under stress, especially through mitochondrial regulation, redox balance, and protein quality control. I am also interested in broader biomedical and life sciences questions where molecular biology, genetics, imaging, and biochemical approaches can be used to understand cellular mechanisms. Alongside research, I enjoy helping students develop clear hypotheses, design meaningful experiments, interpret data carefully, and present their findings in a clear and scientifically rigorous way.
