About me
my expertise in materials science, with a focus on nanostructured design for advanced and sustainable applications. I am highly motivated to engage in innovative, environmentally oriented research and impactful collaborations, and I am therefore looking for an opportunity where I can apply my skills effectively and make significant, high-quality contributions.
Interests: My research focuses on the design and characterization of nanostructured materials aimed at addressing environmental challenges. During my PhD, I synthesized metal oxide-based nanostructures and hybrid nanomaterials with emphasis on optical property engineering (bandgap tuning, photoluminescence enhancement) and reaction kinetics modelling. I primarily contributed to MOFs synthesis, reduced graphene-oxide, graphitic carbon nitride and, biochar-derived hybrid nanomaterials and characterization aspects of collaborative studies, including work on photocatalysis of pharmaceutical pollutants, and nanomaterial-based sensing platforms. I established expertise in biomass valorization, structure-property relationships in photoluminescence (PL), optical characterization (UV-Vis DRS), XPS, XRD, and band gap determination, and sustainable synthesis using Hydrothermal, solvothermal, sol-gel methods.
