This involves me collaborating with your high school student to work through a biology based research project. I specialize in studying mutation in order to better understand how often they happen, what they look like genomically, and how they impact fitness. Projects related to mutation will be of particular interest to me but I am trained broadly in Genetics and Evolutionary Biology so am qualified to assist on nearly any Biology based project. I have worked with numerous students previously who have accomplished everything from peer reviewed research to award winning science fair projects to science based fictional stories. Working through a project with me is perfect for students looking for summer opportunities to bolster their academic resume.
