A problem-solving expert in molecular biology and cellular biology with special focus on Virology. I have worked with Flaviviruses for last 8 years with significant contribution in the field of virus-host protein degradation and autophagic pathways. I also intersect with protein trafficking and lysosomal trafficking. Designed and executed CRISPR-CAS9 gene editing, protein-protein interaction, cloning , microscopy, qRT-PCR and SDS-PAGE validations. Design and troubleshooting of experimental workflow and validation.

Led end-to-end methodology development and optimization across molecular biology, cell biology, virology, and translational research workflows, enabling robust experimental validation, reproducibility, and accelerated project execution across academic and preclinical research programs. Core responsibilities and contribution: 1) Designed, standardized, and optimized mammalian cell culture, primary cell isolation, and stem cell maintenance workflows to ensure high cell viability, reproducibility, and downstream assay compatibility. 2) Developed and validated cell-based and biochemical assays for protein expression, viral host-pathogen interaction studies, drug target screening, and mechanistic biology investigations. 3) Established optimized workflows for CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, transfection, transduction, and knockout validation, improving editing efficiency and reducing experimental troubleshooting cycles. 4) Standardized Western blot, ELISA, qRT-PCR, confocal microscopy, and flow cytometry protocols. 5) Designed molecular cloning workflows including primer design, colony PCR, ligation, bacterial transformation, and construct validation for gene-function and mechanistic studies.
