About me

As SEM is a pivotal role within our editorial operations, entrusted with safeguarding the integrity, quality, and impartiality of the peer review process. This position is responsible for the critical evaluation of peer review reports and reviewer recommendations to identify potential biases, inconsistencies, and ethical concerns, and all reviews align with the journal's rigorous scholarly standards, providing a final layer of quality control prior to the finalization of editorial decisions

Interests: ., I developed degradable superabsorbent hydrogels from waste materials (jack fruit seed polysaccharides) for sustained release of nutrients and isolating bioactive compounds from natural sources, utilized as biostimulants. One of the projects I really enjoyed was engineering degradable hydrogel delivery systems and functionalized biochar nanocomposites for sustained nutrient release. I studied the effect of biosynthesized nanoparticles as plant growth enhancer (both seed priming and foliar application), and the effect of hydrogel, synthesized nanoparticles, and biostimulants on soil nutrient content. Additionally, I assessed the biocontrol potential of bioactive compounds, nanoparticles against soil borne phytopathogens and human pathogens.
