About me
Ph.D. graduate with expertise in non-invasive oral cancer diagnostics and now working as Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Gandhinagar, focusing on cancer therapeutics. With over eight years of research experience in cancer and molecular biology, I have developed strong expertise in translational research and advanced experimental techniques. I aim to create an interactive, problem-solving learning environment for students, guiding them from fundamental experimental design to advanced methodologies.
Interests: My research interests lie broadly in cancer biology, on developing early and non-invasive diagnostics with targeted therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes. I am interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer initiation, progression, and therapeutic resistance, and translating these findings into clinically relevant applications. I am also interested in cancer stem cell biology and stem cell-based therapeutics, including the engineering and functional modification of stem cells to enhance their efficacy as targeted delivery systems and regenerative tools for cancer treatment.
