About me
I got my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Frederic A. Meunier in Neuroscience from Queensland Brain Institute (QBI), Brisbane, Australia in 2019. I started my postdoctoral Journey in Prof. James Rothman lab at Yale. Later, I was hired as a 5th year postdoctoral associate from 2022 to 2023. Later in Eric Morrow’s lab to use expansion Microscopy followed by my most recent postdoctoral position in Georgetown University under Prof. Haiyan He for a year and a half from 2023 to 2025.
Interests: My research has impacted on how we understand neuronal communication, cell-cell signaling, protein organization and dynamics. More specifically the crucial roles played by proteins on the plasma membrane and sub-cellular organelles. The interactions that occur by protein-protein, and protein-lipid binding and structural organization of these proteins have major impacts on molecular mechanisms that happen in neurons, such as exocytosis, plasticity, learning and memory, neuronal growth, etc.,
