Plant Breeding and Genetics researcher with integrated expertise in conventional breeding, biotechnology and computational genomics. Experienced in germplasm evaluation, trait-based selection, and resistance screening, complemented by strong proficiency in bioinformatics and statistical analysis. Committed to guiding students in both conceptual understanding and hands-on research skills, with a focus on developing independent scientific thinking.

Interests: Resistance breeding, quantitative genetics and genotype × environment interactions, genomics-assisted breeding (GWAS and candidate gene identification), germplasm evaluation and pre-breeding, bioinformatics and computational biology, and integration of metabolomics for crop improvement and resilience.
