About me

I have worked as a Project Assistant and Senior Research Fellow in CSIR-CLRI), Chennai. During this period, I have research experience on collagen, collagen peptides, pharmaceutical grade gelatin extraction and its characterization from animal hide/skin. Extraction of keratin from hair and development of composite biomaterials for wound healing application. . I guided students in refining their research methodologies, overcoming technical challenges, and achieving publishable outcomes.

Interests: Utilization of solid waste for the production various value added products , Biomaterial fabrication, Tissue engineering application, Biopolymers, extraction of protein, collagen extraction and its application, plant extracts, extraction of bioactive compounds from plants, nanoparticles, molecular biology, cell line studies, wound healing studies, animal studies. Re-tanning agent preparation, scaffolds, nanofibers, films,hydrogels.
