About me
I am a Ph.D. graduate in Life Sciences with expertise in cancer biology, mammalian cell culture, upstream process development, and molecular and cellular biology. My research experience includes designing and executing independent research projects, optimizing cell culture processes, and applying CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing for functional studies. I am proficient in a wide range of laboratory techniques, including cell-based assays, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence.
Interests: My research interests lie at the interface of cancer biology, molecular and cellular biology, genome engineering, and translational biomedical research. I am particularly interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate cancer progression, therapeutic resistance, and cell death pathways, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets. My doctoral research focused on elucidating the role of ROS-mediated signaling, autophagy, proteostasis, and apoptosis in chronic myeloid leukemia and the mechanisms underlying resistance to targeted therapies. Beyond cancer biology, I am interested in applying CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, mammalian cell culture, and upstream process development to investigate gene function, engineer cellular models, and optimize cell-based platforms for therapeutic discovery and biologics development. I am also enthusiastic about integrating transcriptomics, functional genomics, and molecular biology approaches to uncover disease mechanisms and accelerate translational research.
