About me
Associate Professor and aerospace engineering researcher with more than seven years of experience in the educational setting, doing research in the field, and working in the field focusing on propulsion systems, spray and droplet dynamics, combustion, and computational fluid dynamics. Experience in mentoring students, creating curriculum, leading accreditation activities, and helping with research projects in advanced combustion diagnostics, gel fuels, and liquid propulsion.
Interests: My research interests include droplet and spray dynamics, gel propellant synthesis, droplet combustion and evaporation, gel rheology, hydrogen storage for future propulsion, and ML-based propulsion diagnostics. I work on Newtonian and non-Newtonian droplet impact studies, experimental cold-flow spray diagnostics, gel fuel combustion, and hypergolic interactions of gel and hybrid fuels. I am also interested in technology development for on-orbit refuelling systems and green propulsion concepts through industry-linked startup collaboration
