About me

I earned my B.Sc in Biotechnology in 2016 and M.Sc Industrial Microbiology in 2018 with dissertation focusing on Antimicrobial properties of Nanomaterials and Bio-surfactant as food preservative. I have worked as Junior Research Assistant (Microbiologist) in ICAR-Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Lucknow. My PhD research focused on development of a rapid diagnostic technique for detection of various pathogens by utilizing fluorescence properties of Carbon Dots.

Interests: My research interests are paper-based microfluidic assays and Nucleic acid amplification tests. My research mainly focuses on development an affordable and rapid diagnostic technique that can be handled by anyone without expertise.
