About me

I have worked as research associate in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Berhampur (IISER, BERHAMPUR). I have completed my Ph.D. in plant molecular biology where besides research, I have contributed as teaching assistant, reviewed literature, guided Master student and edited their thesis. I have also exposure of working under industry environment.

Interests: I am deeply interested in understanding how plants interact with various biotic and abiotic factors in their environment. As rapidly changing global climates posing great challenges to crop productivity and food security; my research goal is to contribute toward developing crops that are resilient to diverse environmental stresses. Equipped with skills in molecular biology, cell biology, and bioinformatics, I am well prepared to undertake this challenge. As the first PhD student in my laboratory, I have gained substantial experience in conducting research independently while also contributing effectively to collaborative projects.
