About me

PhD Scholar in Psychology at Christ (Deemed to be) University with research expertise in trauma and counselling psychology. In addition to my research experience, I have taught Academic Writing to Master's students, helping them develop scholarly writing, critical analysis, and research communication skills. I support students in research design, literature reviews, academic writing, and thesis development, with a focus on fostering critical thinking and evidence-based inquiry.

Interests: My research interests include trauma and stress studies, counselling psychology, therapist well-being, vicarious traumatization, professional identity development, supervision processes, empathy, emotional labour, and positive psychological outcomes among mental health professionals. I am particularly interested in understanding how individual, relational, and organizational factors influence the well-being and effectiveness of helping professionals within diverse sociocultural contexts.
