About me

After spending more than a decade, for developing myself as a researcher, it's time to set up a new research group and work as a leader. I would like to motivate the students in the allied fields. Also, encourage them to continue their free-thoughts. It will be an interesting challenge for me to boost up my research ability to the new directions. Main focus of my research work, is centered around the driven nonlinear dynamical systems in classical and quantum regime. I love to teach, as well.

Interests: Main area of my research is the dynamical systems, in particular nonlinear dynamics both in deterministic and stochastic as well. The field of dynamical systems is motivated for the quest of temporal picturisation of a variable (or variables), characterising the model system of diversified origin. Presence of nonlinearity in dynamical systems is ubiquitous in nature and consequently study of nonlinear dynamics has become a fascinating and challenging field of research over the last several decades. Such systems appear almost in all branches of sciences, like chemical physics, ecology, network theory, hydrodynamics to name a few. Problems in the nonlinear dynamical systems appear difficult to solve and in many cases, such kind of problems can not be solved exactly with analytical means and hence only approximate solutions can be obtained through certain perturbative techniques. The situation becomes much more complicated if noise comes into the picture in messing up the deterministic aspects of the dynamics. The description of a noisy dynamical system is stochastic in nature and the corresponding dynamical equations are known as stochastic differential equations (SDE). We solved such equations to get the dynamics within the systems by means of some advanced perturbation techniques. Also, we solved them through numerical methods and validate the results, we obtained theoretically. In later years, the focus of my research, during the post doctoral days, was centered around the driven nonlinear dynamical systems in classical and quantum regime. I was introduced to the world of driven dynamics in order to gain a proper knowledge of stability and instability zones and hence the phenomena of resonance. The driven dynamics has been an important part of modern research in physical, chemical and biological sciences. It is now well known that an interplay of nonlinearity (within the system) and external noise or an applied high frequency of a time varying field in an appropriate parameter space can bring about new instability domains and new resonances. The major focus of our research in this area is to explore the response of such systems. Research is always unpredictable but rewarding. The interplay between nonlinearity and external field or noise, which will remain a central theme of my research, will certainly bring about more surprises. In addition to this topic, I am passionate to study and investigate on the hydrodynamic instabilities using Navier-Stokes theorem, in the context of nonlinear dynamics in the near future. From here, I want to extend my research on the topics of active matter physics. And hydrodynamics is the most powerful theoretical approach to explain the theory of active matter.
