About me
PhD research scholar at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, with expertise in chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, and neurodegenerative disease research. Experienced in designing and developing small-molecule therapeutics, cell-based assays, fluorescence imaging, and in vivo disease models. Passionate about interdisciplinary research, scientific mentoring, and helping students understand the practical applications of chemistry in healthcare and drug discovery.
Interests: My research interests focus on neurodegenerative diseases, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, and proteostasis. I am particularly interested in developing small-molecule modulators targeting the 20S proteasome for therapeutic intervention in disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. I also work on fluorescence-based probes, cell biology assays, and in vivo model systems to study disease mechanisms and evaluate therapeutic efficacy.
