About me
I am a Ph.D. graduate from IIT Delhi with a strong background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology, currently working as an Assistant Professor.I have experience in teaching undergraduate students, simplifying complex biological concepts, and guiding them in both academic and research-oriented learning. I aim to provide students with clear conceptual understanding, practical insights, and the skills needed to excel in academics as well as competitive and research environments.
Interests: My research interests lie in molecular biology, biochemistry, and biomedical sciences, with a strong focus on understanding cellular signaling pathways involved in disease progression, particularly in cancer biology and apoptosis (e.g., Fas–FasL signaling). I am also interested in the role of bioactive compounds and small molecules in therapeutic and neuroregenerative applications. My area of expertise includes gene cloning, recombinant protein expression, protein purification, and protein refolding studies. I have hands-on experience in cell culture techniques and a range of biophysical and biochemical methods for protein characterization and analysis. Overall, my research integrates molecular and experimental approaches to understand disease mechanisms and develop potential therapeutic strategies.
