About me
Ph.D. (Chemistry, thesis submitted) with expertise in nanomaterials, green synthesis, and organic chemistry. Skilled in nanoparticle synthesis, advanced characterization (UV-Vis, FTIR, HRTEM, PXRD), and catalytic applications. Experienced in mentoring internship students in research design, lab techniques, and data analysis. I help students build strong concepts, hands-on skills, critical thinking, and confidence for academic and research excellence.
Interests: My research interests lie in the sustainable design and engineering of advanced nanomaterials using green synthesis approaches, with a focus on developing efficient mono- and bimetallic nanostructures, quantum dots, and doped systems. I am particularly interested in exploring nanocatalysis for environmental applications, including rapid degradation of organic pollutants and catalytic reduction of toxic compounds. My area of focus extends to the development of smart, nanoparticle-based sensing platforms, especially for real-time humidity and breath monitoring. I am also driven by the integration of organic synthesis strategies with nanotechnology to create multifunctional materials. Overall, my work is centered on translating fundamental chemistry into practical solutions for environmental sustainability and next-generation sensing technologies.
