PhD researcher in neurochemistry at NIMHANS studying the kynurenine pathway, neuroinflammation, and schizophrenia. Experienced in LC-MS/MS, molecular biology, cell culture, ELISA, and flow cytometry. Industry experience at Biocon, Syngene International, and Mazumdar Shaw Center for Translational Research in cell-based assays and epigenetic analysis. Recipient of Indian Council of Medical Research and INSPIRE fellowships; passionate about mentoring students in translational biomedical research

Interests: Neurochemistry and molecular mechanisms of psychiatric disorders, particularly schizophrenia, focusing on the kynurenine pathway, glutamatergic signaling, neuroinflammation, and the gut–brain axis, with integration of genetic and epigenetic approaches including sequencing and high-resolution melt analysis.
