About me

I am a dedicated Research Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at GEC Thrissur, currently pursuing my PhD with a specialized focus on shock wave reflection at micro and macro scales. With a solid academic foundation consisting of a B.Tech and M.Tech in Thermal Engineering, my expertise lies in high-speed fluid dynamics, gas dynamics, and compressible flows. My doctoral research, conducted in association with IIT Madras, bridges the gap between physics and practical engineering.

Interests: My research focus is on the complex physics of high-speed fluid dynamics, specifically investigating shock wave reflection phenomena. My doctoral work analyzes the transition and behavior of these reflections across both micro and macro scales, exploring how scaling effects influence wave interactions and flow patterns. With a strong foundation in Thermal Engineering from my B.Tech and M.Tech, I am particularly interested in the practical applications of gas dynamics and compressible flows. This research is critical for optimizing the performance and structural integrity of high-speed propulsion systems, turbomachinery, and aerospace components where shock wave management is a primary engineering challenge.
