About me
I'm a counselling psychologist and academic researcher with hands-on experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioural approaches. My research centres on trauma within family systems, narcissistic abuse, and the intersection of cognitive psychology and clinical mental health, with a particular focus on the Indian context. I have worked across crisis helplines, rehabilitation centres, and private practice, and I bring that clinical depth into my research thinking.
Interests: I'm a counselling psychologist and researcher with experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and CBT. My research interests lie in understanding how trauma manifests within family systems, exploring differential impact of relational trauma across siblings, the role of cognitive schemas and emotional regulation in trauma responses, and how neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD interact with traumatic family environments. I'm committed to bringing empirical rigour to questions that are deeply relevant to the Indian context, and to mentoring students in meaningful, evidence-based psychological research.
