About me
I am a psychologist and PhD scholar with expertise in psychological research, qualitative methodologies, academic writing, and ethnography. My work includes research design, literature reviews, data analysis, with a focus on culturally grounded and decolonial perspectives in psychology. As a Research Mentor, I aim to help students strengthen their research questions, methodology and academic writing while fostering confidence, ethical research practices, and high-quality scholarly work.
Interests: My research interests include cultural and decolonial psychology, qualitative and ethnographic research methods, mental health, identity and selfhood, gender and sexuality, interpersonal relationships, social cognition, and the intersection of culture, society, and psychological well-being. I am particularly interested in exploring how psychological experiences are shaped by socio-cultural contexts and in advancing research that is methodologically rigorous, ethically grounded, and socially relevant. I also have a keen interest in research methodology, academic writing, and mentoring students through the research process; from conceptualization and study design to data analysis and manuscript development.
