About me
I offer students rigorous mentorship in experimental design, data analysis, and molecular biology techniques based on my Ph.D. research and publications. I guide hypothesis development, troubleshoot experiments, and support manuscript preparation. My teaching experience enables me to communicate complex concepts clearly and provide patient, encouraging guidance. I help students strengthen their research skills, scientific thinking, and confidence—preparing them for success.
Interests: My research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying gene regulation and protein interactions, with particular emphasis on small RNA biogenesis and host–pathogen interactions. During my Ph.D., I investigated how viral suppressors like HC-Pro disrupt plant defense pathways by inhibiting HEN1-mediated small RNA methylation. I am broadly interested in translational research, protein biochemistry, and therapeutic target identification. I enjoy exploring how fundamental molecular insights can be applied to biomedical challenges, including infectious diseases and drug resistance mechanisms.
