About me
Assistant Professor & PhD candidate in Physics with over 5 years of teaching experience in Engineering Physics and active research in electrochemical sensors, nanomaterials and environmental monitoring. Experienced in laboratory development, student mentoring, scientific publications and funded research projects and committed to fostering innovation, research-driven learning & academic excellence through effective teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and impactful scientific contributions.
Interests: My research interests encompass electrochemical sensors, nanotechnology, materials science, nanomaterials, analytical chemistry, and environmental monitoring. My current research focuses on the development of nanomaterial-based electrochemical sensing platforms and point-of-care testing devices for the detection of heavy metal ions in food and water systems. Areas of focus include functional nanomaterials, sensor fabrication, surface modification, electrochemical characterization, portable sensing technologies and real-time environmental analysis for sustainable and practical applications.
