About me

Researcher specializing in heterogeneous catalysis and porous materials, with expertise in the design, synthesis, characterization, and catalytic applications of MOFs,silica, metal oxides and zeolites. Experienced in investigating surface acidity, active sites, and structure–activity relationships. I can mentor students in catalyst development, materials characterization, CO₂ conversion, and sustainable catalytic processes, fostering research skills and scientific problem-solving.

Interests: My research interests focus on heterogeneous catalysis and metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), with emphasis on the design and development of functional porous catalysts. My work explores MOF synthesis, surface acidity and basicity, active-site engineering, structure–property–activity relationships, and catalytic mechanisms. I am particularly interested in CO₂ utilization, epoxide conversion, and sustainable chemical transformations, with a focus on rational catalyst design for improved catalytic performance.
