About me

Mr. Mohammad Samiul Islam is a professor of public administration, holding both BSS and MSS degrees from SUST with the highest CGPA in 2003 and 2004. He received the vice-chancellor's book prize in 2007 for academic excellence. In 2014, he earned an M.Phil. from the University of Dhaka and participated in the FTUTs. His research focuses on governance, e-governance, public service delivery, and gender and development issues, with publications in esteemed journals.

Interests: Research emphasises key areas such as digitisation, e-governance, innovation, public service delivery, citizen charters, gender development, climate change, and local governance. It employs a mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to explore these domains, fostering a comprehensive understanding of their impact on public sector development and citizen engagement.
