About me
Postdoctoral Researcher at IISc Bangalore studying intestinal inflammation in IBD and Crohn’s disease using Citrobacter-infected murine models. Previously worked at Albert Einstein College of Medicine on glycosylation in melanoma metastasis and prostate cancer. Ph.D. from CSIR-IMTECH on TGF-β/c-Src/CLEC-2 regulation of dendritic cell migration during Leishmania donovani infection. Expertise includes immunology, host–pathogen interactions, molecular signaling, and murine disease models.
Interests: My research interest centers on understanding immune signaling mechanisms that regulate host–pathogen interactions and inflammatory diseases, particularly within the intestinal mucosa. I aim to dissect how innate and adaptive immune pathways control epithelial barrier integrity, dendritic cell function, and cytokine-driven responses during infection and chronic inflammation. I am also interested in transcriptional and post-translational regulation of immune receptors. My long-term goal is to identify molecular targets that modulate immune dysregulation and develop therapeutic strategies for inflammatory, infectious, and immune-mediated diseases.
