Assistant Professor of Botany at Bangalore City University with a Ph.D. from the University of Mysore, specializing in bioprospecting and micropropagation of endangered medicinal plants of the Western Ghats. Expertise in plant tissue culture, phytochemistry, nanobiotechnology, and bioactive compound isolation. Author of 33 publications with 600+ citations (H-index 13); experienced in molecular and analytical techniques.

Interests: My research interests focus on the bioprospecting, conservation, and sustainable utilization of medicinal plants, particularly endangered species of the Western Ghats. I work on plant tissue culture and micropropagation for conservation, phytochemical profiling, and isolation of bioactive compounds with therapeutic potential. My research also integrates nanobiotechnology, endophyte studies, and molecular techniques to explore novel drug discovery approaches and value-added herbal formulations.
