About me

Completed PHD in applied chemistry at Colorado School of Mines on design and development of porous silica and carbon based nanomaterials for applications in targeted drug delivery, heterogeneous catalysis and methane fuel cell. As a postdoctoral associate at Georgia Institute of Technology and senior scientist worked on adsorbent materials and carbon membranes for flue gas separation. Extensive teaching experience with undergraduate and graduate students on organic and general chemistry .

Interests: Research interests include nanomaterials, nanomaterial characterization, polymers, carbon capture, membranes, adsorbent materials. Teaching includes organic chemistry, general chemistry and materials chemistry.
