About me
Ph.D. in Psychology and presently serving as a teaching faculty, my specialization is in Positive Psychology, Indian Knowledge Systems, counseling, and interdisciplinary research, with a main emphasis on mental health and holistic wellness. My approach aligns particularly with biopsychosocial perspective as well as ancient wisdom, simplifying a wide-ranging understanding of individual functioning.
Interests: Positive Psychology, with focus on resilience, subjective wellbeing, and emotional regulation Indigenous Psychology and Indian Knowledge Systems in understanding human behavior and mental processes Integration of traditional healing practices with contemporary psychological frameworks Mental health and wellbeing from a biopsychosocial and holistic perspective Cognitive and affective processes, including cognitive appraisal and emotional functioning Holistic and integrative therapeutic approaches, including counseling and consciousness-based practices Astro-psychological profiling as an exploratory interdisciplinary domain Biophilic and environmental influences on psychological wellbeing Sound-based and frequency-oriented interventions in mental health (exploratory research) Development of culturally sensitive and evidence-informed psychological models
