About me

Dedicated and research-oriented Psychology professional with an MSc in Psychology, SET qualification, and an Advanced Diploma in School Counseling. Experienced as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology, with expertise in teaching, research mentoring, and academic leadership. Guided postgraduate dissertations and undergraduate research projects, with proficiency in research methodology, SPSS, data analysis, scientific writing, and evidence-based psychological practice.

Interests: My research interests include clinical psychology, counseling psychology, mental health and well-being, educational psychology, and evidence-based psychological interventions. I am particularly interested in exploring factors that influence psychological well-being among adolescents and young adults, with a focus on resilience, emotional regulation, and effective counseling practices. I am also interested in psychological assessment, school mental health, and the application of research to improve mental health outcomes and educational practices.
