PhD in Biomedical Sciences specializing in cancer metabolism, p53-driven metabolic reprogramming, and multi-omics analysis. Interests: My research interests lie in cancer metabolism, with a particular focus on p53-driven metabolic reprogramming and the application of integrative multi-omics approaches to understand tumor progression and therapeutic response. I am deeply motivated to uncover how metabolic alterations and genetic mutations, such as those in TP53, enable cancer cells to adapt to stress conditions and sustain growth. My work on identifying metabolism-related prognostic gene signatures and analyzing p53-associated pathways has strengthened my interest in precision oncology and the discovery of clinically relevant biomarkers. I am also interested in exploring the interplay between transcriptional and epigenetic regulation, particularly through lncRNAs and miRNAs, to better understand their roles in cancer development and treatment resistance. Additionally, my experience in studying bioactive compounds like Withaferin A and developing diagnostic tools such as a multiplex qPCR kit has driven my passion for translational research that bridges laboratory findings with clinical applications. Beyond research, I am strongly committed to mentoring and teaching. I find great satisfaction in guiding students through complex scientific concepts, fostering critical thinking, and supporting their academic and professional growth. I aim to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and innovation. Through mentorship, I hope to inspire the next generation of scientists while continuing to grow as both a researcher and mentor .
